It is difficult to get involved in electronic trading with- out this knowledge,” she says. However, White says her success has not only been down to her technological expertise, but also down to being open to challenges, taking on criticism, and nurturing relationships. When offering advice to those looking to start a career in financial services, White references a lesson she learned from the book ‘Never Eat Alone’ by Keith Ferrazzi. “He suggests you should constantly nurture your professional rela- tionships instead of only reaching out when you need them.
