Joel T. Allison honored for 20 years of service and selflessness On September 18, the Baylor Health Care System Board of Trustees proudly passed a resolution honoring Joel T. Allison for his 20 years of service. The resolution renamed the Faith in Action Initiatives Fund in honor of Joel, who is chief executive officer of Baylor Scott & White Health. The newly named Joel T. Allison Faith in Action Initiatives Fund will support the Baylor Health Care System Office of Mission and Ministry to provide resources and medical volunteers to organizations in need, both locally and abroad. To date, Baylor’s Faith in Action Initiatives program has benefited people in more than 30 countries and 70 local free-access clinics. They provide Joel T. Allison numerous organizations with medical equipment and supplies worth more than $1 million. Allison Faith in Action Award was announced. The award will be given annually to a Baylor employee who, through his or her deeds, best exemplifies the Baylor mission of serving all people through exemplary health care, education, research and community service.
