Coin Wars, COJCL Style

The delegates arrived early in the morning on April 6 at Estes Park. They registered their graphic arts entries and soon after, the first general assembly began, where the executive board announced a new fundraiser: coin wars! Each officer had a jar where people could drop off spare change; the officer with the most money in their jar by the third general assembly was subject to wear an embarassing rubber ducky costume. This unfortunate honor ended up going to our Historian, Leah from Cherry Creek HS. On the bright side, COJCL was able to raise enough for a new scholarship to send one student to next year’s COJCL State Convention for free!
