I think that traveling is the gratest thing you can do in your life, after all when you die you grab nothing except for the experiences you have. Most of the time you think your teachers are tiresome and they do nothing else than going to school and teach us, but this is not the case. I know one who has an excellent story to tell, he is my chemistry tutor. He is currently studying chemical engineering and one of his dreams was to travel to Germany: This is the story Im going to narrate:

Jason is a chemistry teacher in oxford school in Bogota, he gives me tutoring on the afternoons. Recently I found out that besides his job as a teacher, his main occupation is being a chemical engineering student at National University of Colombia, and because of that he was able to travel to Germany in 2010. Story begin in late december of 2009, at that time he had a girlfriend and both Jason and Laura (his girlfriend) shared the dream of going to Germany some day. So they started planning all the things they needed to do in order to win a scholarship offered by the German exchange academic service. They were not alone, a bunch of people were helping them to achieve the goal that was to travel . The process was running well and they were good, but as everything in life, their relationship was meant to end, so they broke up. This event was not helpful for the trip but fortunatelly they moved on working together as a team.

One day in march 2010 they recieve via E-mail the most delightful news: they had won the scholarship so now they started planning all the entire journey. They wanted to visit as many cities as possible and in each one they wanted to visit the historic and most famous places they had research about. So he and other 13 people had the opportunity to go around Germany. He started his trip in Germany by train, my teacher was amaez. He was traveling in the faster train in all Europe and his first destination was Kiel, a very recognized city in the Second World War and famous for its beautiful beach in the Baltic Sea. Jason was delighted witl all the fantastic things he was watching: Wind farms, beautiful castles from the middles ages, top research in chemical engineering from the best German University. He found the kindness in German people, giant jars of beer and the best of the electronic European parties.

Jason's trip had been for him one of the most incredible experiences from his life, that was before he arrived to Berlin. From that moment on he was totally sure he was experiencing the biggest trip of his life. He couldn't believe there was one city in the world gathered all the XX century history in one single place; The Berlin wall, the Branderburg gate, the Bundestag, the Parliament and the World Soccer Stadium. This last destination before comming back to Colombia confirmed to him, that working as a team always works, even if you have to deal with personal details. You always need to have in mind that you are worling for an important project for your life.
