VIDEO GAMES

Some people start to argue about videogames saying that they are the worst thing ever, that they don't really find them useful, and that videogames could even damage the players ideology or personality for their inappropriate material. Even though, some people find them neither harmful nor useless and their position toward this hobby isn't so strict. They support them and give some reasons to convince people just like us, that be considered to be possible players for the society we live in, that they are not so bad and even try to make us see videogames as a good thing to spend time playing with. Their pint of view turns around the fact that simply it depends on the player ad its way to handle this type of material, recreating real life situations or even completely fictional scenes, to decide whether is good or bad to play

videogames. Looking at this polemic theme from the point of view of players who support them, these are some ideas that make them look it in such way.

• In first place, in every single videogame you can see how it is identified whether something is good or bad. This is very important because it will create inside the player’s head the feeling an knowledge about what is good and based on that he’ll act knowing what is wrong, and what is correct. Secondly, most videogames follow a story or a path to follow for being able to finish the game. This can be interpreted and used in real life because when you set up a goal, you wont leave it unfinished and will always achieve anything that you propose. This will happen always just if you have received the proper formation and idea that everything that you start should be finished, illustrated in such an easy and fun way as videogames are. Thirdly and very important, getting enrolled with a videogame will mostly keep you away from bad habits. Understanding bad habits as the ones that harm your health, are illegal, or going beyond someone’s rights. Playing a videogame and really desiring to achieve the game would mostly, obviously there are exceptions, keep you away from this.
