Titanic

When people hear the name Titanic many emotional and sad images come to mind. Visions of the very last final moments titanic spent afloat before sinking to its watery grave miles below the surface comes to mind.

The Titanic was called in different ways: “The unsinkable ship”, “Floating palace”, and “Ship of dreams”. However, on one cold September day in 1912, this amazing ship was setting sail from Queenstown all the way down to New York. Lots of people wanted to be on this boat when it was ready to set out to its voyage, and many were. There were 2,228 passengers, not even counting the crew.

With 2,228 passengers aboard, 1,523 dies, 705 survived, and only 306 of those bodies were recovered, leaving 1,217 bodies from the Titanic that were never found and claimed.

With all the pain and suffering that surrounded titanic no one stops and look at what good came out of the tragedy. Due to all the faults aboard in the Titanic there are now laws which state that there must be lifeboat seats for all passengers on board.
