PROFILE: Courtney Kannenberg
CONFERENCE ROOM
A former SMT ‘06 member and UNT graduate, Courtney Kannenberg
designed and coordinated the decor for the Four Seasons and Barn 214
Retreat Center. “I applied as a construction intern. I think David Jones
expected a big burly guy to apply, but I told him I was studying Home
Furnishing Merchandising at UNT so he hired me to do the decoration. It was
so much fun. I loved it. It was amazing to just be able to help in the ministry
of Tejas. Plus, I got to decorate a Christmas Tree that stays up all year. ”
Whether the event for the night is a movie or worship
service, the Four Season conference room is equipped
for any show. Features include seating for up to 200,
built in sound system, 16 channel sound board,
CDR/DVD system, and theatrical stage lighting. To
accommodate a smaller group, the Four Seasons also
has a more private Winter conference room.
