SUPPORTING THE MINISTRY OF CAMP TEJAS
T
he Tejas Support Ministry has helped bring together hundreds of people to
pray, volunteer, and ?nancially support what God is doing at Camp Tejas. We do
not take this support lightly and we desire for more people to join the team.
There are two great reasons to support this ministry through donations, in prayer,
and by volunteering. First, we believe that as we are able to grow and improve the
services to each and every guest that comes to Camp Tejas the opportunities for life
changing moments will increase exponentially. Second, we believe that the more
people become involved with this ministry beyond attending a retreat or summer
camp, the deeper our impact will be on the lives of all children, youth, families, and
adults that attend Camp Tejas.
God uses Camp Tejas to impact the lives of your family, friends, and church. Giving
to Camp Tejas can also become a source for spiritual growth, worship, and as an expression of faith in what God accomplishes through this ministry. Supporting Camp
Tejas is another opportunity to strengthen your relationship with God and support a
ministry He uses to impact your family, friends, and church.
We are an outdoor camp and conference ministry that God has charged with

serving Christian families and churches throughout the state of Texas. Your church
home should be supported ?rst, but we desire and pray for Camp Tejas to become
supported by anyone that has been impacted directly or indirectly by this ministry.
Each group that attends Camp Tejas becomes a part of a larger family connected by
shared experiences, both physical and spiritual, that occur when each guest enters
these gates. We hope these shared experiences are looked upon with great joy and
that God is glori?ed.
Annualy, we now serve over 10,000 guests representing thousands of families
and hundreds of churches and schools. There are many people being impacted here
and around the world and as these ministries continue to grow we will need a growing support team. We hope and pray that you will look through the ways you can help
and decide that Camp Tejas is not only worthy of your support, but more importantly,
that you see the opportunity as a way to draw closer to God and impact the world
for Christ.

rayer in the life of a Christian, church, or ministry is the real sustaining power. Without prayer
our ministry would accomplish little and God would
be unable to communicate to anyone involved with
Camp Tejas. More importantly, God would be unable
to change the lives of those that enter these gates.
Without life-change there is little hope that God can
use this ministry to impact others back home. We
need people to spend time in prayer for Camp Tejas.
This magazine illustrates most of our ministries and
we hope you use it as a prayer guide. We would love

olunteering is a commitment of time and talents and
this aspect of our support ministry is an integral part
of our past, present and future. Volunteers have helped
us carry out almost every building project in the last 20
years and we will rely on volunteers more than ever before
in the coming months. Volunteer opportunities abound
at Camp Tejas and these opportunities are perfect ways
to serve God and build stronger relationships with family
