ow often do we look at the true de?nition of words we speak? One word that
comes to mind when talking about Camp
Tejas is retreat. According to the MerriamWebster dictionary, retreat is de?ned as “a
period of group withdrawal for prayer, meditation, and study.” Now that we know what
retreat means, do we take time to put it into
action?

from children, and then the evenings and

to teach your children outside of the classroom? At Camp Tejas the children can enjoy
the feeling of accomplishment by climbing to
the top of our 50 foot climbing wall. You will
be able to meet together in one of our conference rooms or split up into smaller groups
and enjoy meeting outside next to a lake or
secluded wooded area. We can also provide
a time of group games that will challenge the
children and help with their ability to work
together as a team. Finally, end the day with
a hayride or nature walk through the meadows.
