very year we look forward to
our time at that special hideaway in Central Texas called
Camp Tejas. We pack our favorite
summer wear, Bibles and pillows
for an amazing week to swim, play
games, and most of all to study God’s
Word.
The kids from Trinity Baptist
Church in San Antonio, Texas often
spend several weeks in various summer camps every year, but they still

Community Bible Church
cannot wait for that special week of
“Preteen Camp” in Giddings, Texas. The facilities, the staff and their
willingness to make everyone feel “at
home” is indescribable. And…there
is never a shortage of adult sponsors
who love Camp Tejas so much that
they plan for it a year in advance!
The most amazing part of camp
is to see how God speaks to young
hearts. There are always kids who
come to camp with us who really need

to hear about our Savior’s wonderful
love and grace – camp is that place
where we can share God’s Word! You
can wear your shorts, go swimming,
play games with friends and just enjoy being surrounded by the beauty of God’s world. Camp Tejas is a
special place for so many kids – the
memories that will be in their hearts
forever; because, when camp is over,
it is still that place in our heart where
God lives that really matters.
