Spanish Trip
The Spanish Club went to Westminister Christian Academy on Friday, to watch the Flamenco Ballet Company. The company presented Latin American Fiesta, singing songs and dancing traditional dances from Mexico, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Brazil and Argentina. After the intermission they focused on Spain in their Spain Alive performance taking students through a history of music and dance in the nation. After the performance the students went to Barcelona Tapas Bar for lunch, where they were introduced to the culture and traditions of tapas in the Spanish culture.
