3 EMERGING HEALTHCARE TRENDS TO WATCH OUT FOR Get to know yourself and your patients in order to influence the outcomes you are looking for. In order for healthcare to overcome the current challenges we are facing, we must dedicate ourselves to a collaborative, renewable resource model that includes real incentives for preventative care. W              hose job is it anyway? I mean, that's what most health care professionals end up wondering. How much of the responsibility for solid medical outcomes is their's? The payers? The facility's? The patient's? All of the above?  Who is responsible for maintaining the health of the provider? The provider themselves ? The medical facility? The provider's family? All of the above? We have unexpectedly found ourselves living in a blame based society. All it takes is 10 minutes of watching any of the major news channels to insight feelings of fear, anger, and resentment. Blame and finger pointing isn't helpful. Nobody wins when everybody is too busy distorting reality with new and improved ways to put the blame on the other guy. The fact is that building a  quality healthcare system that works for everyone, requires the work of, well, everyone. As healthcare professionals we are both players and coaches and we do have a responsibility to work towards a team victory. We can start by taking care of ourselves as an example. As providers, we are in a unique position to add common sense and insight to the discussion.
