The Story of the Amitabha Stupa, Sedona Arizona 1 | Page 38
In 2003 and 2004 Kunzang
Palyul Chöling (KPC) built
the Amitabha Stupa, a 36foot enlightenment stupa
in Sedona, Arizona, in the
Tibetan Buddhist tradition
of Vajrayana Buddhism.
A small group of dedicated
volunteers worked tirelessly
under the inspiration of KPC’s
spiritual director Jetsunma
Ahkön Lhamo and the direction of Stupa master Tulku
Sang-nang Rinpoche.
Birthing the Amitabha Stupa
was a work of love, dedication,
devotion and great joy, and
when it was completed, the
Stupa was offered as a gift to
the Sedona community, the
world and all sentient beings.
May this book enrich
the understanding and
experience of everyone who
has the good fortune to
connect with a stupa.
Directions to the Stupa:
