YOUNG LAWYER SHOWCASE The North Dakota Young Lawyers Section (YLS) is continuing its efforts to integrate young lawyers with our state bar and our communities. This spring, YLS again partnered with the Great Plains Food Bank to host the second annual “Feed Your Community” food and fund drive. Communities across the state raised a remarkable 6,409 meals for the Great Plains Food Bank! The food and fund drive made a substantial step towards ending hunger within our communities. YLS extends a very important thank you to the community volunteers for your hard work in organizing the event and to our legal community for the overwhelming support. Last but not least, congratulations to Megan Kummer of Wahpeton for winning the Feed Your Community competition by raising the most meals per attorney in her community. The YLS Education and Professionalism Committee will continue to host webinars this fall. Young Lawyers, as well as other licensed attorneys, are invited to participate in the webinars. Our next webinar is planned for September. Contact Lindsay Harris, President-Elect, at [email protected] to recommend young lawyers for future showcases or to get involved in YLS.
