BRITTA DEMELLO RICE

is an Assistant State’s Attorney with the
Burleigh County State’s Attorney’s Office.
She has been a prosecutor with Burleigh
County since September of 2012. She
prosecutes cases involving personal crimes,
drug crimes, property crimes, and also
handles a portion of the juvenile case load.
Britta grew up in Cavalier, North Dakota.
She attended Minnesota State University
Moorhead where she graduated Cum
Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree
in Paralegal Studies. After two years in the
workforce, Britta returned to school and
in 2012 she graduated Cum Laud
