Q. I first noticed your work on facebook  and just love your items. Before we get into your art

can you tell my readers a bit about yourself?

I'm an English girl from the countryside of Oxfordshire and I moved to LA five years ago in order to pursue a career in film. I always knew I wanted to do something in the art department but actually stumbled into miniatures by chance and for me it was just a great fit. I create scale miniatures and miniature model sets for a living, selling my work in 40+ countries, contributing to magazines and books all over the world and currently working on my short film 'Good Witches Bad Witches' for which I am creating a host of unique whimsical witch characters, and I just love it!

Q. I know you make many different things, can you tell the readers about Tall Tale Productions and how your started creating your items?

My interest in miniature film making started when I saw the 'Wallace & Gromit' films. For me it was so much more exciting than hand-drawn animation or computer animation because these fun characters on screen were physical things. I'd forgotten my childhood interest in on-screen miniatures, but it came rushing back. Later I created Tall Tales Productions so that I could do what I love for a living. I work for myself, creating miniature characters, props and sets for other people and for my own productions.

Q. I love the witches you make, they are so adorable, how did you come up with it?

I've always had an interest in witches. When I was 8 years old I wrote and illustrated a book called 'The Witch's Day' and got my photo in the local paper. I absolutely love creating this world of witches for 'Good Witches Bad Witches' because I never run out of ideas, the topic excites me and also I am keen to see more entertainment centered around women. As a feminist it's very important to me. How many films or TV shows do you know with largely all male characters -
