PROTECTION ALLIANCE CASE date not be set until August 2016 to allow time for gathering affidavits, enlisting additional witnesses, and preparing their case. Following the directions hearing, there were several discussions and email exchanges between NCPA representatives and ITNJ Court Officers addressing the need for protecting the identities of NCPA witnesses while live-streaming the NCPA trial, and several methods of accommodation were agreed on. August 2016 Trial dates were set for September 2016, and preparations began by NCPA leadership and legal counsel and ITNJ Court Officers and Staff to hold the first trial of the ITNJ. The chosen venue, at the Monash University Law Chambers, had been reserved by NCPA leadership. 31 August 2016 ITNJ Chief Justice John Walsh of Brannagh determined to hold an Interlocutory Hearing on 12 September 2016 to allow the applicant and the respondent an opportunity to bring any motions before the court, including the motion to postpone the trial. A Press Release dated 31 August 2016 announced the change in proceedings. 12 September 2016 The video recording of the full hearing and the transcript of the hearing are posted on the ITNJ website. A short video of the highlights of the hearing (just over four minutes) is also posted, and presented below. 14 October 2016 NCPA leadership failed to respond to the ITNJ Court Officers within thirty days. Chief Justice John Walsh of Brannagh issued a Judgement and Final Order. 22 August 2016 The ITNJ issued a Press Release announcing the dates, times, and location of the trial, which was to be livestreamed in real time during the week of 12 September 2016 to 16 September 2016. Following a logistics meeting of ITNJ volunteers, an ITNJ volunteer located in Melbourne, Australia contacted Monash University to request a visit to the venue to assess the facilities for room setup for the trial, lighting and sound for the multiple camera crews, and other logistical needs, and was told by a staff member at the Monash University Law Chambers that the venue reservation for the NCPA trial had been cancelled. Calls were immediately placed to leadership of the NCPA, and ITNJ volunteers went to work searching out an alternate venue. Subsequently, ITNJ Court Officers received a written request from NCPA leadership to postpone the trial. TheSovereignVoice.Org
