By Justin Deschamps ION OF JUSTICE the material world. Part of the existential experience of a living being is desire, the ability to imagine things we want, or in some cases, don’t want. Desire is generated in the mind, which formulates a plan or method for achieving the goal. If what we desire involves another, it must be communicated so as to ensure the conceived plan of manifestation incorporates all required or essential factors. For example, if a composer wants their music played in an orchestra, they must take the time to render the piece into a form musicians can assimilate into their own minds. The composer may write their music on paper, providing it to the musicians. If the composer fails to do this properly, the generated result of their co-creative working will reflect errors in the communication, a poorly played version of the composed work. Whether the goal is settling a dispute between two aggrieved parties, a government enacting a new ‘law’, or simply setting a date for dinner plans, the role of com- munication cannot be overemphasized. It is principally a process of transmitting information or knowledge from one mind to another. The end result is an equivalent set of data being possessed in each mind. These realities are so interwoven into the fabric of experience, that they often go unnoticed. But they are wellestablished principles, used in every system of would-be justice on the planet and beyond. THE SOURCE OF ALL CONTROVERSY If justice is the business of settling disputes, then controversy is the term describing a prolonged disagreement that has not otherwise been resolved, and most likely will not be resolved without the intercession of a third party. If two people disagree, and fail to negotiate an accord, then this is when an arbiter or mediator is needed to help facilitate the process of settling the matter ‒ restoring cooperation or trust. This is the role of any court system, and its authority only extends to the TheSovereignVoice.Org
