The Royal Marines are in Town!
As part of the 350th Anniversary of the Royal Marines it was a great honour to be able to host two Royal Marines rugby teams here on the rock. The week started with visits onboard HMS Ocean for the Gibraltar teams, a wonderful reception held at The Lounge by the Royal Marines, 2 great games of rugby and a reception at The Convent courtesy of His Excellency The Governor & Lady Dutton.
Season five of the John Smith's Super IV's kicks off this October with the reigning League Winners and current Super IV's Cup holders the Inline Framing Sharks (pictured) looking to continue their good form over the past two years. However, will this be the year that the Kehdlow Buccaneers find their previous form or will we see the Sovereign Insurance Scorpions finally find that sting or will the Nature Group Stormers show their class again? Whatever the outcome it looks as if it will be a great season.
Season Five of the Super IV's
U10's & U12's in action
The Under 10's and Under 12's sections of the KPMG Mini's took to the road against Marbella A and B on the 11th October 2014.
Both the Gibraltar Veterans and National Select XV were invited onboard HMS Ocean for a photo oppotunity and tour of the ship in the run up to the Royal Marines games on the 27th September 2014.
