GRFU General Secretary Chad Thomson;

"What we've got now is a team that is fluid in the way that it plays rugby. It's open and attacking and, whilst perhaps not the biggest, we've been far better than the majority of sides we've been up against."

"Malaysia was tough and an eye-opener and a real learning curve and we came away with the belief that man-for-man we are better than the majority of sides we will come up against at this level in Europe."

"We've built up a very good rugby community in Gibraltar and have developed a wonderful spirit that gets results. We hope to welcome Scandanavian opposition in the spring, and will continue with our pursuit of Rugby Europe status inclusion in the forseeable future."

The previous evening David Campese took time out of his busy schedule to provide a short training session for the Youth and Senior Sections and signed autographs for some very excited young players!
