In October 2014 we welcomed back our domestic league the Super IV's. Played at DTC the league consists of 9 rounds of games where each team plays each other three times.

In the 5 seasons the league has been running we have seen 3 different winners The Stormers, The Sharks and The Buccaneers.

This year has proved to be yet another exciting year as through the application of 'the draft' system new and academy players joining the league are picked in order of the finishing position thus the team which finished bottom from last season gets first pick from the draft and so on.

This process is one of the reasons why the league has provided so many different winners in so few years. Additionally, the teams are becoming more recognisable as traditional 'Clubs' with most now having social gatherings and local bars to call their 'own'.

With Round 8 completed, it is the Buccaneers who have already won the League. Although they are an older team, they yet again show how training and determination can overcome many obstacles. 2nd, 3rd and 4th place is still up for grabs going into the last game of the season.

In addition to the league the Super IV's Cup is played at the end of the season and has for the past two years been the property of the Sharks. Whilst they will no doubt be very keen not to have to remove this from its place of keeping, the competition will no doubt be yet another hard fought one!

The Super IV’s League is played at Devils Tower Camp. Training is every Tuesday with GRFU Skills Session from 8pm-9pm and Super Iv’s Club Training from 9pm-10pm. Games played most Thursdays from 7.00pm. All welcome
