Danny on Wheels

Following a motorbike accident 20 years ago Danny Britto has had no use of his legs or his right hand, he is in a electrical wheel chair. He has a Mercedes Vito van adapted so he can drive it with one hand. His van has over 300,000 km on the clock and the joystick that he uses to drive with is due to expire soon. He is always on the go and driving every where.

The cost of a new van for him is in the region of £100,000. Danny on Wheels was started by himself, he has organised a Med step race, a walk from Sotogrande Port back to Gibraltar, a raffle of a Xmax 250cc Yamaha bike that he paid for by himself the draw is in May 2015.

David Coleman O'Flaherty of the Gibraltar Veterans Team wanted to spread the news of Danny's cause which is when the vets game came to mind.

Buxton and Co, Inline Framing and D&H Ceramics all donated £150 each which paid for the t-shirts. Colour works donated the banner. He has raised over £8000 to date. The Costa Barbarians players donated to this on the day of the match.
