Land Rover U14's V Jaen - Saturday 28th November 2015

Tough day yesterday guys but lets not forget we will all be bigger , stronger and more experienced next year - we have a young team so don't worry about the score.

The positives were that all those who played got a whole game and the second half proved that we will improve with more games and experience.

There were some noticeable improvements in the second half once you found your feet.

Proud that you were all still laughing and joking after the game.

As we said after the Malaga game, if we all commit to tackling around the legs we will half the opposition scores immediately - I promise you that tackling this way with your head out of the way will leave you with less bumps and bruises than trying to tackle high.

Derren Vincent U14's Coach

Couldn't agree more Derren. You all got knocked down a few times and got back up and carried on and by the end of the game you were all tackling and playing rugby....

We just need to start this way.... whats important is you get around and regroup as a team. I think you all know and now appreciate the need to tackle below the hips...less shirt pulling...

Chad Thomson U14's Coach

Thanks to the U14's that were there today. I know I shout a lot but you guys really did well and most of the time were good role models for the U12's.

I know its not your responsibility

but those younger than you look up to you and will try and copy your behaviour. If you train hard they will follow. Be the best you can be.
