Louisville, Kentucky-area Buffalo
Wild Wings® partnered to support
Angels in Disguise, a local Louisville
charity that supports the awareness and
education of Down syndrome.
Similar to the unique positioning of
Buffalo Wild Wings® in the restaurant
industry, Angels in Disguise sets itself
apart by celebrating Down syndrome as
a gift.
“It does so by creating events that
focus on community connectivity and
engagement, initiatives very familiar
throughout the BWW brand,” states

annual events.
The fundraising campaign
included several
events leading up to the third annual
Angels in Disguise golf event on July 25.
First, the Louisville locations executed
a marketwide Eat Wings, Raise Funds
program July 10 and 17. In addition, they
organized a Giddy-Up Gala featuring
an auction on July 24 at the home of the
Kentucky Derby, Churchill Downs.

the campaign was truly brought to
life when the day was converted to
Angels Day. “We invited individuals
with Down syndrome, our Angels, to
become a BWW team member for a day
and partner with staff to deliver a truly
memorable experience to the guests and
community,” said Titus.
With the help of media partners,
like Louisville local television stations
and ESPN radio, they were able to grow
the campaign in 2014. There were more
than 170 people at the gala and 192
golfers teed it up at the Quail Chase Golf
Course. Through the combined events,
they helped raise more than $135,000.
Titus is grateful for all the backing
the cause received. “Thank you to the
BWW family that helped make our
events successful. A special thanks goes
out to John Bestenlehner, the Buffalo
Wild Wings® regional manager in the
market and the Jones Group, who came
to town to support the cause.”
There are even higher expectations
for these events in 2015! If you are interested in becoming involved, please contact
