Matt McGuirk graduated from Dighton-Rehoboth Regional High School in 2017 and is currently working towards an Associate's Degree in Communication at Bristol Community College. Upon completing his associate's program, Matt will be transferring to a four-year school where he will pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Communication. In 2016, Matt was the first recipient of the Boston Cannons' Bruce Lerch Junior Journalist Scholarship and still covers the team to this day as a freelance writer. He has enjoyed watching the sport of lacrosse grow over the years and is excited to see what the future has in store
Matt Noonan is a freelance sports content producer, covering college and high school sports for various websites and publications. Noonan is also the editor and founder of NoontimeSports.com, a New England sports blog that covers Division III athletics.
His work has appeared in various Gatehouse Media publications, including the Somerville Journal, along with the Boston Globe, ESPNBoston.com, Patch.com, BostonLax.net, D3Hoops.com and InsideLacrosse.com. Noonan can also be heard on the PA mic for various colleges in Massachusetts, including Harvard University, Framingham State,
Merrimack College, MIT and Tufts University. He also broadcasts high school state championships for the NFHS Network.
Prior to becoming a full-time freelancer, Noonan worked in a trio of collegiate athletic communication offices, including MIT and Wheaton College. He also helped Lax Sports Network (LSN) enjoy a successful first year on the air as both an associate producer and production assistant. A 2010 graduate of Wheaton College (Mass.), Noonan currently resides in Somerville, Massachusetts and can be reached at [email protected].
