Affordability AND a Great Youth Lacrosse Experience in Your Community
Mass Bay Youth Lacrosse League (MBYLL) and our 100+ town programs work really hard to deliver a great youth lacrosse experience at an affordable price every spring season. Together we strive to offer an organized, fun, rewarding experience for all players under our wings and at all talent levels playing in today’s youth game.
Affordability and a high-quality experience can go together to deliver high value in the youth lacrosse world. When you combine our league member fees with your town’s player participate fee and compare time spent and value delivered over the three-month spring season, you have one good example of affordability and high quality working together. At our recent board meeting, the MBYLL leadership team decided to reduce our membership fees to $35 for both players & coaches for the 2019 spring season (a reduction of $5-$15 per player or coach). Along with our other league program fees (for town membership, Select teams, coach certification, and Jamboree teams), we remain very sensitive to keeping our fees low while also being able to have the funding and resources we need to deliver a high-quality youth lacrosse experience every spring season and for everyone involved in Mass Bay Youth Lacrosse.
How have we accomplished this for the past 25 years and, more importantly, how do we continue to do this in the future? Yes, many positive forces have aligned and played a role: through a combination of remaining true to our mission—to teach, grow, and honor the game—and our 501(c)(3) non-profit organization foundation, along with having passionate and fully-engaged volunteers at both the town and league leadership level who are committed to growing youth lacrosse in their communities and throughout Massachusetts. Please join us and consider stepping in the ring of youth lacrosse in your community by volunteering some of your time, resources, and/or enthusiasm to make a difference this coming spring. The boys & girls of Massachusetts will appreciate your efforts and you will help youth lacrosse continue to grow in your community and every community—and at an affordable price we can all celebrate.
