What is your favorite lacrosse memory from either youth, high school, or college?

Will: “I would say in college, making it to the championship and just having the chance to compete for that title. There was really no better feeling coming out on the field, knowing that it was the first time Clark ever made it that far. The emotion was indescribable.”

Jack: “My sophomore year we ended up winning the Middlesex League Championship for the first time in Melrose High School Lacrosse history. That was a special moment and it was my brother’s senior year. We had a great season.”

What is a pregame ritual you have or had?

Will: “I always liked to get down on the field early. Shoot a little bit, make sure the stick is right. Then, I’d play wallball for ten minutes and then sit in the locker room, listening to music. I would think about what I have to do during the game. I’ve always been a fan of visualization. I visualize what I should do here and there and then I’d apply it once I went out on the field.”

Jack: “Listening to music. I am a huge hip-hop fan and I like to listen to a lot of rap songs to get me pumped up for the games.”

What would you tell youth lacrosse players who want to go on and play in college?

Will: “You have to put in the extra time. You got to get in on the wall, you got

to get to the field and shoot. Find the fun in it, because it is fun. Now, that

it is over for me, it is really hard to think that lacrosse isn’t going to be part of my life anymore. I’d say enjoy it while you got it, work hard,

have fun with it. It’s really as simple as that. Once you find the fun in it, all the work you have to do to get to the collegiate level is enjoyable.”

Jack: “How I got to where I am today is from putting in work during the offseason.

The offseason is the most

important part of the year. I wasn’t really a big [weight-lifting] guy and

because of this, I decided to work on my lacrosse game [all the time]. I’d go to the field to shoot and work on drills that would help me prepare for situations in games.”

What are you up to these days?

Will: “Right now I am working at Red Curve Solutions in Beverly and I am actually headed back to school for an accelerated Master’s Degree program.”

Jack: “Right now I am an intern at Red Curve Solutions in Beverly. I am learning a lot. When it comes to what I am going to do after college, I am not really thinking about that yet. I am not really sure to be honest.”

Do you hope to stay active in the sport of lacrosse in the future?

Will: “Definitely. I think there will be one day down the road when I have kids and I would love to coach their teams. For now, I am
