players, and the drills that are run. Above all things, they know what is expected from the coaching staff. The familiarity level is a big factor in the translation of success from the youth program to the high school teams, whether it is JV or varsity.

Lacrosse is successful in Medway because of the giant relationship between the youth league and high school program. The work put in to create the synergy and maintain this healthy relationship has been super rewarding for both sides. The leaders of Medway Youth Lacrosse believe the relationship has helped their program be so successful. On the other side, the high school coaches thank the strong youth league for the success of their program. Also, the connection of these two programs has opened up so many opportunities for people to get involved.

In a state where the sport of lacrosse has grown (and is still growing) at a rapid rate, it really is essential for youth leagues to develop healthy relationships with the high school programs if they want to be successful. Medway Youth Lacrosse and Medway High School have epitomized this correlation and have showcased what this type of relationship can do for both sides.

Thanks to all this, Medway is a lacrosse town.
