Most people think it ? s a country in the Middle East . No it ? s a city in the UAE and it ? s not even the capital . Abu Dhabi is . Where ? So even though Dubai is a relatively small city , it has the world ? s largest Law of Attraction Meetup Group . How ? Well I put it down to proof that the Law of Attraction really works !
When I first started The Law of Attraction Group in Dubai I was so inspired by the impact it was having on people ? s lives , that one of my desires was for the group to be the world ? s largest Law of Attraction group and impact as many people as possible . I couldn ? t have imagined it would happen so quickly ? in just over a year . This is one of my many proofs that the Law of Attraction truly works !
The Meet-up group started as a way for me to find out more about the Law of Attraction and meet like-minded people . However the success of the group was so quick and it was so evident people wanted to know more and more , that I started to put all my energy and focus on researching , practicing and then teaching the Law of Attraction through motivational events , small group workshops and one to one mentoring . When did it all start ? I was accepted for a job that took me from my home in the United Kingdom to Dubai in 2007 . I knew it was the Universe calling me to go since I didn ? t have any inclination to move to the Middle East . When this opportunity came , I just knew I had to take it !
While at the airport , getting ready to embark on my seven hour flight and ready to start a new life in another continent , I saw the book The Secret ( recently released at the time ) at the airport and decided to buy it . I was gripped by every page on the flight , although I was unaware , at the time , how much of an impact The Secret would have on my life . As a test I asked the Universe to deliver me a free copy of The Secret DVD . Eighteen months later , when I finally decided to follow my heart and start my personal development business , a free copy of The Secret DVD was delivered to me , and then I smiled : I knew the Law of Attraction worked and I knew the Universe was sending me a clear sign !
Dubai is about being the biggest and the best ( it has the tallest building in the world , the largest shopping mall in the world , the world ? s most luxurious hotel , the largest aquarium tank in the world and so on ). Dubai ? s story is incredibly inspiring and so it ? s no wonder since I ? ve arrived , I picked up on the energy and wanted to run the world ? s largest Law of Attraction Group !
However , in this land of wealth and abundance , people often feel the need to put their focus on earning more money in order to keep up with those around them . Therefore something that comes up time and time again with my clients is to explain that in order for the Law of Attraction to work , you need to be clear about what your heart really desires , not just what you need to get in order to keep up with those around you .
When asking people at my workshops what they want , they often start writing or talking in generic phrases ? wanting a rich husband ; large house ; 6 figure salary ; slim figure and the list goes on . The Law of Attraction only works when you really look inside yourself to see what you really want ? not what you ? ve been brought up to think you want , not what your culture or family want for you , not what gender roles tell us we should want and not what looks good on the outside . As when we think of a desire from our heart , we feel the excitement - the passion - the rush of energy go through our body . If we don ? t feel this then we probably
