Getting Back to the Basics By Venetia Zannettis The Law of At t ract ion is a name given to the saying "like attracts like" because by focusing on positive or negative thoughts, you bring positive or negative experiences into your life. Have you noticed that when you wake up feeling positive, your whole day goes well, but when you feel negative, one bad thing after another occurs? This is because your thoughts and emotions can influence your vibration and change what you attract. For example, the energy generated by your thoughts and feelings will radiate from the body and draw corresponding energies to you. We call that process the Law of Attraction. The secret to attracting your wishes is to become the energy that you want to draw. You do so by focusing positively on your goal. When you give your attention to a thought, you release a vibration, and the vibration-released is equal to what you will attract. But, if you focus on not having the thing you want, then the vibration-released will not be equal to your desire. Therefore, attraction can never take place. You must deliberately match your thoughts and feelings to that of your desire to draw it to you. Always focus positively on the outcome you wish to experience. See yourself as already having what you want, because it is in the process of thinking and feeling positively of your goal that you
