THANKSGIVING DRIVE
SUCCESS!

Back in November, Saint Brendan had its annual Thanksgiving
drive at San Juan Bosco Catholic Church. Along with the drive,
our Key Club and student council traveled to San Juan Bosco
and hand delivered the food boxes, which were collected by each
class at St. Brendan. Each class in our school was assigned a list
of food items that would provide both a Thanksgiving meal for
every family and a gift card so they could also purchase a turkey.
Each student was asked to bring 1-2 items. “On the Wednesday
before Thanksgiving, we delivered the collection boxes to San
Juan Bosco and helped carry them into the school. After we left,
families lined up so they could receive their Thanksgiving meal,”
said Nicole Chang, the president of Key Club. As Catholics, we
believe in helping the less fortunate, and by doing this, we hope
to make a difference in their lives.
