SPORTS GIRLS VOLLEYBALL Written by: Krizia Ketchum As a result of their hard work and dedication, the volleyball team had an amazing season. They conditioned in the summer five days a week, for four hours a day. During the school year they trained even harder, practicing six days a week for nearly three hours a day. The team consisted of 17 hard-working players. Team captains, Carolina Caram and Sophia Sires led the team as well as help them reach their full potential, which resulted in several team wins. Before the game started, they were each called into the gym to receive gifts from their teammates. “It was sad but exciting at the same time,” said Genesis. To top it all off, Saint Brendan won the game against American Heritage. “They were focused. We did what we had to do, and that is why we won in three,” says Coach Arnaiz.
