By Rachel Witt Troy Lee Designs / Lucas Oil / Honda rider Jessy Nelson set the bar once more at Porterville in the three pro classes at round 3, but not far behind in 450 Pro Sport was the #46 Yamaha of Jake Mohnike and the #753 Honda of Jesse Janco. Porterville native #294 Joshua Camarena battled with Mohnike in both Open Pro-Sport motos, finishing not far behind Mohnike for third place overall. In the 250 Pro Sport class it was #79 Joseph Reynolds in second behind Nelson, and Mohnike in third. Lucas Legion rider Nick Nisbet ended the day with as many first place podiums as Nelson, sweeping every moto in 250 B, 450 B, and Open B for a total of three first place trophies on his #117 Suzuki.
