We have had a busy time so far with all sections being extremely busy, and attending both Company and Battalion events as well as the Company Section taking part in National competitions. Our overall numbers are sitting about 120 which is a fantastic amount, testament to the teamwork of the staff who deliver the programme, not just on the meeting nights but a lot more besides. Our Anchor Boys have so far attended the Battalion dressing up and also a trip to Ayr Beach Park in September. On 4th November the Anchors went to Fiona’s house where the boys had games, marshmallows, hot chocolate and a wee heat from the fire pit - great fun for all the boys. Junior Section have attended a fair amount of Battalion events which include treasure hunt at Dumfries House, ten pin bowling competition, Unihoc, swimming gala and athletics afternoon. We have also had a visit from RNLI where boys got a very interesting talk and demonstration on water safety. We also had a sleepover in the church hall followed by a Battalion cooking event run and hosted by Stewarton. Climbing w all at D um Company Section and Seniors have attended a few Battalion events which include Alton Towers visit, swimming gala, athletics day, an activity evening at Dumfries House to take part in climbing and assault course. We are continuing to offer a progressive programme to help boys stay on and enjoy the BB right up until they are 18. fries House - al tr ying to ge ways someone t a better vi ew!
