We then split into groups, either taking part in the craft activities or games. At the “paper engineering” table, Ruth Nicol demonstrated how to make cards and boxes while at another table, Marion Currans demonstrated the art of Tatting. On one of the days, Bill Quinn told of his refereeing days and brought along his football memorabilia. Each day there were quizzes organised by the Minister and his wife, including 'Who wants to be a Millionaire'. Each day closed with a short Act of Worship when Rev George spoke on the “trypraying” programme. Everyone during the week was given a “trypraying” booklet, and encouraged to work through it, then pass it on. The week ended with a coach trip to Culzean Castle and lunch. It was a very successful, interesting, friendly and fun filled week. We hope after New Year to commence a monthly mid week “Friendship and Faith” activity to be run on similar lines and where all age-groups will be welcome. th e 20 th ay r sh ir e s te warto n s c o u t g r ou p This has been a very busy time for the Scout Group. Bring the family straight from school! We'll have a special area sectioned off for activities with mothers, babies and toddlers too. All are welcome to the next MFF on Monday 7th December. Our All-Age Musical Nativity Play is on Sunday 20th Dec at 11am, followed by mince pies in the Hall. Our Lochhead Court Carol Service is at 3pm on the same day.
