If you’ve been travelling around Stewarton
and the surrounding areas over the last few
years – you may have heard the sound of
the Mamas & Papas Choir stretching their
vocal chords in preparation for their various
concerts. The choir which originally consisted
of parents of children who attended Stewarton
Academy (hence the name) has grown and
developed over the intervening years, and
while there are still a few of the founder
members, it now contains people of all ages and
backgrounds and from all parts of Ayrshire.
