Mackintosh & Wylie partner with Ayrshire Samaritans for 2017
Mackintosh & Wylie LLP , solicitors in Kilmarnock and Stewarton , are pleased to announce that their nominated charity for 2017 will be Ayrshire Samaritans .
The firm is donating 10 % of all fees generated from the professional preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney throughout the whole of 2017 . Alastair McDonald in our Stewarton office , and Campbell Fullarton and Karen Stewart in our Kilmarnock Office , are available to discuss and assist with the preparation of Wills and Powers of Attorney .
Ayrshire Samaritans provide support for anyone who needs someone to talk to about many things including loneliness , bereavement , health worries , anxiety , financial worries or during relationship breakdown .
They provide confidential emotional support 24 hours a

day for people experiencing feelings of distress or despair , including those who are suicidal , and they will never judge . With Samaritans , you get the time and space to be yourself .

The Ayrshire branch receives approximately 12,000 contacts a year from people who need to talk , and more importantly , be listened to .
Ayrshire Samaritans is run by volunteers , and opened in 1965 . They receive no government or local authority funding – they are totally dependent on donations and fundraising activities to keep the branch open and to continue supporting callers .
Making arrangements for the future makes sense . Having a Will and Power of Attorney in place is one of the best steps you can take , but when it comes to preparing for the future , we are all guilty of good intentions , but ultimately delaying taking action until “ tomorrow ”.. Unfortunately sometimes “ tomorrow never comes ” so we urge you to act now .
