Jeder Hatte Eine Gute Zeit Auf Dem Oktoberfest! by Dave Guyer, CFRE, Vice President, Development; Executive Director, Providence Foundation Approximately 80 Founders Society members enjoyed a great time at the Providence Foundation’s Thirteenth Annual Oktoberfest. It was held on Saturday afternoon, October 26th, in the backyard of Historic Waco’s beautiful East Terrace House. Perfect fall weather, great German food, beers, wines and polka music greeted the Foundation’s honored guests. “Grillmeister” Tom Pardaen and his crew did a great job in serving out the tasty bratwurst, knackwurst, Jack and Nancy Munson, Mike Cuscurida, sauerkraut, German potato salad, black bread, grilled chicken, Madeline Kosler, and Don Davis pretzels, apple strudel and German chocolate cake. Kitty and Robert Tunmire have invited us to celebrate next year’s Oktoberfest at their gorgeous and newly remodeled Migel House, on Columbus Avenue! Oktoberfest is one of the ways the Providence Foundation shows its appreciation to our generous and faithful Founders Society donors.
