Providence Celebrates Christmas with a Holiday Meal and a Stroll!

On December 20 our Nutritional Services team
prepared a Christmas feast of ham, turkey and all of the
necessary trimmings! Many associates and volunteers
gathered in the dining room, rearranged tables and
dined with their Providence family.

During a hero-themed health fair, Providence
associates and volunteers cruised through the
rotunda and auditorium and learned the importance
of taking the healthy road to health and well-being.
In addition to providing flu shots, the fair
offered attendees health and safety
information from service lines across the
network, as well as community partners.

Congratulations Providence Healthcare Network for an amazing
2013 Heart Walk! Once again, Providence was the leader in
fundraising and recruiting of walkers for the American Heart
Association’s annual Heart Walk held November 2 at Baylor
University’s Getterman Softball Complex. Our Providence team
raised over $11,000 and had over 900 walkers registered.

Saint Vincent’s Feast Day 2013
Providence associates gathered for a special meal in celebration of
Saint Vincent’s Feast Day on September 27. Our nutritional services
team at Providence Health Center, Providence Park and Providence
DePaul Center served up a delicious hearty meal for everyone to enjoy.
Thank you to all who worked so hard to make the day a special one!
