2. THOMAS HARPOINTNER’S 10 DIGITAL MARKETING TIPS: This Internet Marketing and Social Media expert included this list in his presentation on propelling your Practice growth in the digital age. 1. Use responsive web design to provide a better user experience. 2. Leverage social media to increase positive reviews. 3. Use email marketing to keep connected. 4. Focus on achieving top search engine rankings. 5. Examine your unique internal strengths (know what to outsource). 6. Leverage your reputation to create distinction. 7. Increase focus on your top margin services. 8. Deliver the right message via the right channel. 9. Apply retail marketing tactics to your Practice (people love deals). 10. Know your numbers (you can’t manage what you don’t measure). « 3. TEST. TRACK. TWEAK SCALE UP TEST: Start by testing your initial piece. TRACK: Fully utilize your Call Tracker lines to listen to recordings, and track sales to follow how many items the piece has sold or appointments it has booked. Remember, it doesn’t matter how anyone FEELS the piece is doing. JUST DO THE MATH and track those results! TWEAK: Based on feedback and effectiveness, continue to tweak your marketing piece so it improves effectiveness. SCALE UP: Once you’ve tracked the success of your piece and tweaked it to become even more effective, REPEAT this process, and SCALE UP your list so your piece continues to evolve into an effective control piece that is always a “home run.” 4. BUILD A KILLER SWIPE FILE The key is to NEVER start with a blank piece of paper! Combine other successful ideas, borrow any of our marketing pieces, and keep anything that catches your eye! That way you will build a swipe file that will allow you to EASILY recreate a great piece that will knock it out of the park for you! 10 Dentistry From The Heart is a great way to give back to your community while gaining great publicity for your Practice.
