Moves
Permanent Deacons
Father Simon Chinery will be moving from
Cornwall in September to take up the post as Pastor
for the Hemel Hempstead Ordinariate Mission. He
will also be the Ordinary’s Priest Secretary and our
Communications Officer.
Fr Lee Benett will be moving from Holy Family,
Benfleet to the Parish of Southend-on–Sea in September.
Fr David Waller will be moving from St John
the Baptist, Ilford to Christ the King, Chingford also
in September.
We welcome The Rev Melvyn (Mel)
Harwood as a deacon of the Ordinariate of Our
Lady of Walsingham. Deacon Mel was incardinated
last month having previously been a deacon of the
Diocese of Nottingham though he has not lived in that
diocese for some years. Amongst other things Mel is a
Catholic prison Chaplain.
