Blessing of new Pipe Organ in Deal
S
t John’s Catholic Church on St Richard’s
Road, Deal, saw the blessing of a new pipe organ
on the evening of Friday 21st September 2018.
In the context of Solemn Vespers (Evening Prayer)
of St John the Evangelist, the Right Reverend
Monsignor Keith Newton, Ordinary of the Personal
Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham, blessed the
new pipe organ, after which a reception was held

Manchester Evensong and Benediction

month. Locals said they had never
seen so many in church before!
The hall had a solemn blessing and
the party began. About 120 people
were present, all the food was excellent and it soon disappeared and a good time was had by all present!
