across the country responded with great enthusiasm and
a huge amount of hard work to the Called To Be One exploration day on 6 September which aimed to
increase understanding of the Ordinariate’s purpose and reach out to those who may feel called to join it.
We received many excellent and heartening reports
from the groups about the events they hosted on the
day and how they went down, some of which are quoted
from elsewhere on this page. As the Ordinariate’s
communications officer and a member of the team
set up by the Ordinary to help plan the Called To Be
One day, I thought I would concentrate here on some
of the media attention that the initiative generated in
the months leading up to it, which, in itself, I believe, Called to Be One in Walthamstow (with Harlow and Leytonstone)
