The Salisbury Ordinariate

Jackie’s eldest
son married Ronald’s daughter. They have produced two wonderful children.
Joseph is eleven and Emily, eight. It is bad form to take your children to work with you, and even worse to
take your grandchildren! However, there are occasions when this is unavoidable. The Sunday we visited the
Salisbury Ordinariate Group was one such occasion.
We need not have worried. The
Ordinariate congregation in Salisbury
includes at least one family with similarly
aged children, and our grandchildren were
warmly welcomed – as indeed were we.
Salisbury
is
the
second-largest
settlement in the county of Wiltshire, after
Chippenham. It has a population of about
40,000, so is one of the smaller cities in
England.
