Ordinariate Scotland 2015 Pilgrimage
This
year’s Ordinariate Scotland
Pilgrimage is from Friday 13th to Sunday 15th
March 2015 and will again be led by our Ordinary,
Mgr Keith Newton at the Schoenstatt Scotland Retreat
and Pilgrimage Centre.
The Centre is a tranquil and peaceful place nestled
in 17 secluded acres at the foot of the Campsie Fells
around 10 miles north of the City of Glasgow. It is on
a direct bus route from the centre of Glasgow and just
15 minutes from Glasgow airport.
The Centre occupies the restored Ballencleroch
House (literal translation: the place for the clergy) a
name whose root dates back to mediaeval times, and
offers excellent en-suite accommodation, meeting and
dining facilities to its guests.
The beautiful little Shrine Chapel in the grounds is
dedicated to Our Lady under the title of Our Mother
Thrice Admirable and offers three special graces to
visitors and pilgrims:
• the grace of feeling at home and being accepted
for what we are;
• the grace of transformation, becoming renewed
people according to God’s original plan for us;
• and apostolic fruitfulness.
The Pilgrimage will begin at Evening Prayer at 5pm
on the Friday and end after lunch on the Sunday. A
full Pilgrimage Programme will be available nearer
the time. Accommodation is in twin rooms, all with
full en suite facilities, and bookings (accompanied by
a cheque deposit) should be made as soon as possible.

welcome to join us as are readers from Australia and
the USA, and like anyone else from south of Hadrian’s
Wall, we will collect you from Glasgow Airport ... and
take you back again for your flight home.”
