News from Scotland
F
r Len Black has received a letter from
the Columba Trust, which funds the
advancement of the Roman Catholic religion
in Scotland.
It says: “At the most recent meeting of Trustees, the
very valuable work carried out by the Ordinariate
was discussed in some detail by the Chairman, Lord
Gill, and his fellow trustees. In general, the Trustees
prefer to support specific projects rather than simply
contribute to running costs. In this instance, they are
happy to make a general donation in the hope that it
will be helpful to the finances and the continuance of
the work of the Ordinariate of Our Lady of Walsingham
in Scotland.”
Fr Len Black told T he P ortal , “This is a wonderful
and most generous gift which will indeed assist us
greatly in our Mission here in Scotland where the costs
associated with travel are quite dramatic. We are most
grateful to the Columba Trust for their confidence in,
and support of, the Ordinariate here.”
