Dr Caroline Farey
Jackie Ottaway and Ronald Crane meet Dr Caroline Farey,
Head of Catechetical Formation at the Maryvale Institute
It was
raining; a cold and miserable day. We drove up the little lane to the great house once lived in by
the Blessed John Henry Newman. It is not a pretty house, rather forebidding infact. But Maryvale Institute
is an International Catholic Distance-Learning College for Catechesis, Theology, Philosophy and Religious
Education. Birmingham ought to be proud to have such a wonderful institution within its boundaries.
We had come to interview Dr
Caroline Farey. She has more
letters after her name than
Jackie has in her given name! ...
