What a start to our second year!

Many people could pray one mystery of the Rosary
each day, and in the usual order of those mysteries.

remember the excitement and wonder that day in a mystery. You pray this mystery on the 1 st day of the
Westminster Cathedral when Mgr Keith, Mgr John month. Then you proceed through the other mysteries,

none more extraordinary than this
What was it that Archbishop Vincent Nichols said on
that never to be forgotten day? If I remember correctly,
he said something to the effect that the Cathedral had
witnessed many extraordinary ordinations through
the years, but none, surely, more extraordinary that
this one? He was so right.
New life has been released
Since that day there have been more extraordinary
ordinations and receptions. Congregations have been
swelled by the arrival of the Ordinariate. New life
has been released in so many areas, not least in this
humble publication.
The New Evangelisation
We have so much for which to be grateful. However,
we do not rest upon our laurels. The future holds even
more wonder for us. The New Evangelisation is for us.
If the “old” Christian countries of Western Europe lose
the Catholic Faith, the whole world loses. The New
Evangelisation is about bringing back the lapsed. It
is also about bringing to Faith those in the UK who
have no Faith. It is not one or the other, it is both.
The Ordinariate ought to be leading the way here,
for without growth we are dead. Yes, it is early days.
To add to the meaning of this great prayer, we will
send you a list of intentions - just two or three each
day. You offer your mystery for each days’ intention. In
this way, every Group will be prayed for by name every
month, as will our Ordinary and his Assistants. Let us
surround the Ordinariate with this wave of prayer, a
truly Living Rosary.
