As if
life wasn’t busy enough, I enrolled last year on a
catechists’ course at the recently-founded School of the
Annunciation based at Buckfast Abbey in Devon. I admit that part
of the reason was the attraction of weekends at Buckfast – it is
fabulous, with extremely comfortable accommodation, delicious
food, and the beautiful chanting of the monks at prayer in the great
Abbey Church.
