10 Community News The Recorder · October 8, 2015 SHORT TAKES Quilts for a Cause at CCPVB Quilts for a Cause is a special exhibition honoring the work of Jacque Huber. Jacque has generously donated a series of seventeen of his hand-made quilts to be exhibited and raffled off to raise funds for the Cultural Center’s outreach programs. Each quilt is meticulously hand sewn with a beautifully created design and carefully chosen color palette. His creations aren’t just quilts, they are finely crafted pieces of art that can be functional bed quilts or become beautiful wall art. All seventeen quilts will be on display at the Cultural Center October 9 to 23.
